It's interesting, being your own housekeeper. Definitely not something we're used to, as wonderful luxury-absorbent South Africans. Tash and I are finally learning to do things for ourselves, and this includes our laundry. Not as easy a job as you'd think, considering the abominable lack of sunshine to dry our clothes. Nevertheless, we are becoming quite "winning" at this household task. We also tend to mess around a lot while we wait (activities include keeping warm by hugging the dryers, and entertaining fellow laundromateurs with the Alan the Uke). But that's the usual.
